German Foreign Minister Steinmeier in Riyadh
German Foreign Minister and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier came to the Kingdom of Saudi-Arabia for a two-day visit from 28 - 29 October. Talks held by Dr. Steinmeier focused on issues of regional stability and the global financial crisis.
The program included meetings with His Royal Highness the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdullaziz Al Saud, the Foreign Minister His Royal Highness Prince Saud Al Faisal, the Governor of Riyadh His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Excellency the Finance Minister, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf. Minister Steinmeier was accompanied by a high-ranking economic and cultural delegation.
